01 · About the area
Being there with a soldier’s family
War touches not only the soldier — it changes the life of the whole family. For us, “being there” therefore means being there with the soldier’s family as well, especially when it is going through difficult circumstances.
We support the families of fallen, wounded, captured and missing soldiers — practically, with guidance and pastorally.

Four kinds of support
Practical help for families
We respond to specific needs: food, clothing, firewood, household matters and other help. We look for partners and resources that can cover a particular request.
Children of Heroes
A dedicated project supporting children whose families have suffered because of the war. We organise rest, recovery and rehabilitation for children, including trips to children’s camps abroad.
Pastoral support
We stay with families through difficult times: we talk, we listen, we pray and we help them walk this road within a community.
A chance for a child to change surroundings, to rest, to make new friends and to feel cared for and supported. Children of Heroes
