01 · Who we are

Ministers of the Odesa People’s Church

We are ministers of the Odesa People’s Church, which belongs to the religious centre “Assembly of Churches”, headed by bishop Denys Serdychenko. Our team is based in Odesa, yet we carry out chaplaincy ministry across Ukraine, especially in the regions affected by the war.

We are volunteer chaplains and serve within the interdenominational NGO “Christian Rescue Service”, which brings together about 2,000 chaplains, chaplain assistants and volunteers in different regions of Ukraine.

The chaplaincy ministry of the Odesa People’s Church is carried out in cooperation with the Christian Rescue Service. Our team has about 40 chaplains, chaplain assistants, volunteers and specialists in various fields who serve soldiers, veterans, their families and civilians every day.
